Tab Trade — The Short Version
Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It does factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
